We at Signal Film and Media are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to assist with our exciting upcoming exhibition, which will mark the finale of our year-long Lost Stations digital arts programme.
Time Back Way Back is a new exhibition from digital artist & videosmith Sam Meech, which will reimagine a corner of South Cumbria as a futuristic world of science fiction fantasy, through haunting live performance, phospherescent concrete forms and interactive projection mapping. The exhibition will run 22nd November – 9th December and will take place at our based at Cooke’s Studios as well as Barrow Station.
We are looking to recruit a team of 12 volunteers who will play an important front of house role in engaging visitors with the unique artworks & assisting members of the public through this interactive, experiential show. This opportunity is perfect for those who are keen to get involved with the arts and culture scene in Barrow as well as those who may like to gain professional experience in the production of exhibitions and creative events.
Volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of 2 x 4 hour shifts over the 2 week period of the shows running. The selected team will receive a full briefing including a special artist talk from Sam Meech to give insights about the show’s creation.
