Sat 8 July | Marshmallow Laser Feast

Marshmallow Laser Feast are a collective known for their ambitious projects that push boundaries and blur the lines between art, science and technology.

Since 2011 they have been experimenting with 360° immersive experiences offering new and exciting perspectives to audiences globally. With their most recent project they dove headfirst into the world of Virtual Reality, creating a large scale immersive installation in Grizedale Forest that allowed the public to see the forest as a midge, dragonfly, owl, frog, and giant.

As well as an artist talk, Marshmallow Laser Feast will be offering VR demo sessions at set times. They will be showcasing In the Eyes of the Animal, a 360° animated and sonic cinematic experience.  This hypnotic 3D world of swirling colours is an artistic exploration into the science of seeing, a sensory visualisation of a vibrant landscape belonging to woodland creatures.
